How much weirder?

A moment ago, I said that the world has already become too weird to parody.

Let's play a game.

Complete the sentence "How much weirder can the world get when...?"

I'll start.

"How much weirder can the world get when the wife of Ozzy Osbourne is universally regarded as the very model of matronly middle class respectability?"

I had no idea Ozzy Osbourne's wife was considered a fine example of middle class respectability.

How about this... how much wierder can the world get when the mundane comings and goings of celebrities can be turned into a half hour television program (e.g. "TMZ"). I'm not sure if it's available in the UK, but if it's not, consider yourself lucky.

Because she sorted him out. She saved his life and gentled him down and repaired his finances and reduced his intake of drugs and alcohol to a survivable amount. She apparently did this for love, and with love. If she can save Ozzy, anything is possible. He may be going to hell, (not my call), but it seems a lot less likely than it was before Sharon.

I rather like Ozzy. Not the music, just the guy himself.

Well, we've established the Chris Johnson Iron Law of Anglicanism, which is that it is impossible to make a joke about Anglicanism that doesn't eventually come true ...

(Terribly unfair to humorists and satirists, but then, life is tough.)
