Sorry - I should have noticed the second 'Ghosts'. Who is more guilty, I wonder: the vandals who smashed the place up, or the diocese which allowed it to fall into decay and emptiness?
I do not believe in ghosts; but I know they exist. "Ego in umbras non-credo; sed alias agnosco crescent."
