Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
Ain't it the truth? Ain't it the truth? (The Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz). How absolutely empty, sad and just wrong. To love and to be loved is participating in the life of God; to lower one's self to mere "use" or gratification is hell.
And, indeed, a great commentary about the sexual revolution and the guttering flames of chivalry. Not to mention atonement, restitution, the nihilistic vapidity of popular culture, the Holy Grail and being laugh out loud funny.

My favorite movie. As in hands down, ever.

I am one of those badly damaged by the fall of the Asteroid. If I would not have converted to Catholicism I would be as good as dead by now...
