What to say in Italy

when approached at an airport by shady-looking characters who might or might not be sex-traffickers:

"Vai via, non sono una putana! Sono sposata e ho dodici bambini e mio zio e un padre padrone nella Curia e mia zia e una stregha."

From Dorothy.

"Sono madre e ho cinque bambini" worked like magic when my mother was fending off a cheeky waiter in Venice.

I was very pleased, for I had drilled this sentence into my mother's head before she left on holiday, and therefore she had to admit afterwards that I did indeed know something about something.
