Having one of those "what the hell am I doing with my life" moments

I never wanted to get into a situation in life in which I know without looking how to spell the surname of the current governor of California.

Update:

I also seem to know, without looking it up, the capital of Latvia.

What the hell kind of person knows the capital of Latvia without having to peek at Wikipedia? I mean really!

(Apart from Latvians, I guess)

A) You won't have to worry about it very much longer. It'll be "Brown" or "Whitman" in a few months. Nothing in this state will be better but it will be easier to spell.

B) In the interim, just use "Ahnald". Everyone will know who you mean.

Four letters, two syllables? Hardly difficult to remember, Hilary!

What kind of person doesn't know the capital of Latvia?

Well, it just shows what a bunch of get-a-life nerds you all are then doesn't it?

Yeah, pretty much. Except for the technical skill part that the word "nerd" implies. When they handed out technical skill I was in the line for more ice cream.
