I nearly vomited over the Cardinal's NewSpeak statements on Kennedy's "lack of support for the unborn." Kennedy was a leading opponent of the unborn, and about the only thing he didn't do was perform abortions himself. It was Kennedy's public record that led me to "issue harsh judgments and impute the worst motives" to Kennedy, yet I'm the bad one here.
And to think, I was considering becoming a deacon to Cardinal O'Malley.
What a missed opportunity!
