Toronto is still reeling from the aftermath of a major storm that dumped about 26 cm of snow in the city. The morning commute is slow, school buses are cancelled and Pearson International Airport is still reporting dozens of delays.

I will just point out that it is an unusually mild December, even in the UK...
...though I am prepared to concede that we are wooses compared with Canadians.
Just wait until the first bad frost. Then watch Britain grind to a halt, totally unable to cope!
