More to the point

is that it is not "white English people" the Labour Party, and the left in general, discriminate against, it is white men. If you're a woman, you can claim yourself to be part of a persecuted officially recognised Victim Group, no matter what colour you are.

It was revealed last year that Avon and Somerset Constab-ulary rejected 186 applications from white men on the grounds that they were already “over-represented” in the force. In the same way, London Mayor Ken Livingstone last month refused to endorse a series of nominations for the London Fire Authority because they were dominated by whites.

And whole towns are beginning to suffer state disapproval. Eighty administrative jobs in the Prison Service have recently been transferred from Corby in Northamptonshire to Leicester because, as the Home Office admitted, Corby’s population is predominantly “white British”, a terrible sin in our multicultural society.

It is a bitter irony that the Labour Government, which works itself into such a synthetic rage over racial prejudice, should practise overt discrimination on an epic scale. The remorseless focus on supporting minorities has led to a perverted ideology of anti-white racism.

Identity politics, another name for a shakedown. I remember another version of it. They used to call it "consciousness raising," but another word for it is "grievance-mongering." My mother became addicted to it, so I saw it up close and ugly in all its whining, snivelling, morally infantilising glory.

I'm currently reading Bleak House, at a new friend's earnest recommendation, and am quite convinced by it that without the present fashionable insanities we would not want for others.

Oh man, I tried about five times to get through that one. It's not that it was depressing (though it was) it's that there were just too damn many characters. I have a habit of reading one book for a while, taking a break and reading something else, then going back to the first book. By the time I'd gone back to Bleak House, I couldn't keep the fifty freaking characters straight.

Ugh, racesexual proportionality. What a B.S. concept. If you have to turn away droves of qualified applicants because of some contrived standard, YOU'RE DOING SOMETHING WRONG!

I wonder why White (British) Men put up with this. But I remembered making a change actually involves (*gasp*) work, risk, and the ability to take the consequences.

I often feel guilty that we Brown people are displacing entire cultures. But when the natives are such feckless, gormless nobodies, I lose all pity realize white people (as they are now) don't deserve to be saved.

Notice "as they are now." They can change, but the odds are against them. It will take what I mentioned in paragraph two, and Divine Grace.

There's a race thing comes round every now and again at work. I'm thinking of changing race from 'White - English' to 'Black - African' (or whatever). Just to see what happens.

See, the definition is entirely self-determined. If I decide to be black - presto! - black I will be. I wonder how long it will take for the natives to cotton on?

Silly question: shouldn't men be overrepresented when it comes to brute force (well, some brute force necessary) things like being a fireman or a prison guard?

If my house is on fire, I don't give a rat's patootie about the sex of the person fighting the fire; I want someone strong enough to handle the hoses with 150 psi of water surging through them, and smart enough to know where to aim to keep the fire under control.

Really, I do NOT want my house burning down in the name of political correctness.
