Obstacles

[T]he rise of the extreme right through elections has become an issue that cannot be countered.” Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

Well, the solution is obvious isn't it?

It's those damned elections we've got to get rid of...

Never fear Jihadis, the EU stands behind you in that noble effort.

Where did that awesome boat piece go/

It's going somewhere else, for money.

You can still read the posts Hilary snatches away from us to satisfy her insatiable greed if you subscribe to her RSS feed. :)

Though listening to De Falco's call to the captain, the cynic in me can't help but suspect that he knew the game he was playing and was just playing the part to save his own behind.

How do I deal with feminists who don't think they are feminists? You know the kind that say they are pro-life (as if this was the only qualification), and are very big on the duties and responsibilities of men toward women, but don't think women owe men the slightest thing in return as a duty or obligation?

How? How?!

Also, how do I turn off this "RRS feed" of which you speak?

I wouldn't know, Hilary. It no longer appears on the feed on your site. But it shows up in my Google Reader. My Reader must have downloaded and cached your post from the feed before you removed it. Google Reader says you have 169 subscribers. I don't think if someone were to login to their Reader just now they would see it anymore. But if they logged in earlier it might show before they marked the post as having been "read". I'm not 100% sure of this. There might even be a little delay between when you delete your post and when it gets removed from your feed.

And don't you dare turn off your feed or I will fly (not on Alitalia) over there and beat you up.

very glad to hear your boat piece is going somewhere else for money, Hilary. Just letting you know that it was accessible by me also in Google Reader - just now.

I have no idea what you could do about that.

Elections are much harder to get rid of than people. Think of the various Communist and Islamofascist regimes always continue going through the motions and expense of democratic process (towards a foregone conclusion). They achieve this efficiently by simply eliminating those who persist in voting for the wrong people. Paper or plastic? Gas or bullets? Or maybe just a simple psychiatric diagnosis? Zip, boom, bah, done deal.
