Well now I'm embarrassed. I'm looking at the pictures in the video and thinking "Wow, she really looks like Nurse Dixie from 'Emergency'". I never realized that was Julie London.
What was it about photos back then? How was it that everyone looked so beautiful? I have a photo of my mom from about 1960, and she looks amazing, and she had it taken in some little town in Mexico. I look horrid in most of my pictures -- except my wedding shots. I have to admit, I looked pretty good--but still nowhere near the glamourous look of my mom's simple photo.
