Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
We pretty much mess it up every other day when we are doing our family prayers, or the prayer for the Pope. The person leading may or may not get corrected because we haven't noticed. Sometimes we'll just add: "and pray for Pope Francis." Cardinal Collins sometimes has become Pope as well. Sometimes we say, "pray for St. Francis."
Every time I say the rosary I offer the first prayers for the intentions of Pope Francis and for comfort for... who? I just can't bring myself to say "Pope Emeritus" so it comes out sometimes Papa Ratzinger, sometimes Cardinal Ratzinger, sometimes Benedict XVI, or sometimes, after mental fumbling I give up and just pray, Dear Lord, you know what I mean.

I can't explain it, but I keep accidentally praying for Pope Julius. Why? Why? Why? Where does a mistake like that come from?
