Well, it's now 6:25 p.m. and I think I can honestly say we did the Introit justice. We didn't sound exactly like the gentlemen in the video; they have a bit more, well, nuance than we managed. But we did stay right on pitch in a piece of business that changes mode in medias res.

Sadly, the situation here is far from rosy. The Cardinal Ab. of Perugia - and the guy Francis' forced on the national bishops' conference as president - was making his pastoral rounds. It was... not edifying, let's say. When I've sorted out my transport issues and no longer have to attend the local NO I think one of the biggest bonuses is that I will never have to clap eyes on an Italian bishop facing the people making googoo eyes and shaking his wattles at us ever again.
