  1. I love the shots of him combing his hair! It reminds me of my 2nd oldest brother who was 9 years older than I, and I thought he was terribly cool. But I prefer the remake of the song Sedaka did, which was popular when I was a cool, happening youngster in Vancouver about a thousand years ago. (sigh)

But this annulment thing puts a whole new twist on things, doesn't it. We can only pray for real mercy from the Real God, and hope that He responds yet knowing that we don't deserve it.

  2. Not at all a new twist, MK, just the next logical step - and one that has been well telegraphed - in what we know is a well-planned attack on the Faith. There has not been one minute of this pontificate when the pope has not told us plainly what he has planned to do, from the first appearance on the loggia.

  3. Well, look on the bright side---after our Catholic divorces we'll have more space in our houses to obey the Pope's order to bring in Muslim migrants...

My father, a 4-times-divorced ex-Catholic, is now very self-satisfied and brimming with I-told-you-so schadenfreude. Thanks again, Frankie, for making our job that much harder.
