Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

Happy B-Day, everybody!
Let us arise, then, at last,
for the Scripture stirs us up, saying,
"Now is the hour for us to rise from sleep".
Let us open our eyes to the deifying light,
let us hear with attentive ears
the warning which the divine voice cries daily to us,
"Today if you hear His voice,
harden not your hearts".
And again,
"Whoever has ears to hear,
hear what the Spirit says to the churches".
And what does He say?
"Come, My children, listen to Me;
I will teach you the fear of the Lord".
"Run while you have the light of life,
lest the darkness of death overtake you"
~
Yes. It was given to me by the Abbess of the Monastery of Rosano.

Dear Michael, I own it too and highly recommend it. I would suggest you buy it from the Clear Creek Benedictines in Oklahoma for cheaper than you can get it on Amazon. Plus you can support a sterling traditional Benedictine abbey. http://clearcreekmonks.org/_product/monastic-diurnal-liturgical-book.html
