La Musica Notturna delle Strade di Madrid - Op. 30 n. 6 (G. 324) / J. Savall

La musica notturna di Madrid is one of the reasons I don't think I can ever visit that city, as there is a certainty that the reality of it will be no match for this musical impression.
I introduced this to my delightful 18 month-old niece; she loves it and requests it when I go to visit. I plug in my iPod and we dance away and theatrically imagine the delicate street-scene unfolding before us. Magic.
(actually it was that Crowe film which made me finally track down the Boccherini after I saw it in the cinema).
