It was hot today
And hot weather means one thing.
There's a wily mosquito in my room lying in wait for me to get too tired to stay awake.
Just this morning, after a miserable night fighting mosquitoes who got in when I forgot to close the sitting room window, I have decided to put my plan into action and build a netting tent over my bed. The ferramenta will have curtain rods which I can put on the bed frame with duct tape. The netting comes in pieces large enough to cover the balcony door. Sew them together and voy-lah.
As for Eric, when Anna comes back from Germany, I may go over and help her do the same thing. I'm guessing it's no fun being pregnant in an Italian summer, even less so when you can't sleep because of the little vampire monsters flying into your ears.

Eric has no mosquito netting. Buy him some. Sew him up some lovely mosquito netting curtains.
