Book Bleg
Someone has just brought this book to my attention:
Unfortunately, I the translator had to beg for a complimentary copy, otherwise I would be happy to oblige. On another note, I turned a corner in a museum in Poland, under renovation, and saw that Da Vince picture. Some Carravagio fan had painted black over the background centuries ago. verification word: gooscut
No, you did not have to "beg". A copy was sent by us (The publisher) as soon as it was requested and we had a mailing address. This is quite an ungracious comment, all things considered.

My apologies to Bill Harnum. It was a bad choice of words on my part.
ReplyDeleteNot to worry, folks, a copy is (slowly) winging its way to Rome.
