Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.
Just where, precisely, did these priests get the idea that they are the teaching authority in their respective dioceses? Where did they get their (alleged) spiritual formation as priests? Did they not learn in seminary the proper role of the priest with respect to his Bishop or Archbishop, or to the magistrerium (ordinary and extraordinary)? Is this some part of what comes from celebrating the Mass versus populum? Can anyone explain these mutterings and complaints?
Respect for human religious orders above respect for our Creator is what thte Roman Catholic Church is all about, from its pagan origins. It is therefore more clearly a reflection of this fact when tthe liturgy it enforces further separates its' feigned respect for Creator from prior fantasies about holding such respect for Creator, don't you think?
