Your brain is not your friend
It's a funny thing about depression. One of the things it does to you is make you think you don't want to feel better. Or maybe just can't be bothered.
Interesting thought. Someone who's not experienced it can't understand how it is possible to feel so bad but at the same time be perfectly lucid and yet unable to reason oneself back to health.
Long time ago but very educational.
I hope you are not presently afflicted. If you are, my sympathies. Believe me I know what it's like. If you're not, then that is so very, very good.
