Cheshire's area is 2,343 square kilometres (905 sq mi) and its population is just over a million.

  1. But this is just administrative Cheshire, which includes parts of Lancashire. Traditional Cheshire is larger.

    They really need to stop fiddling with the boundaries of administrative counties -- or better yet just make them exactly the same as the traditional counties.
