    I'm a civil servant and last week someone replied to a letter that I had written

    his comment was that it was courteous but evasive. "Would have done credit to Sir Humphrey"

    I might ask for a pay rise

    I'm very proud to say that the guy going on and on about Greek and Latin grammar sounds exactly like my 14-year-old son.
