Another nail in the coffin of the Church in England and Wales - a proof that the Holy See has neither the means nor, more importantly the will, to do anything for souls in the UK. Why've we been waiting several years for this? Certainly a big mistake by Benedict, who governmentally seems to sink lower with every week.

But this appointment will open up so many new avenues for dialogue in mutual respect! Just think of the opportunities for an exchange of ideas!
