Ow!
Hey, what does it mean when you wake up and the area just above waist level on the left side at the back, where you think your kidneys might be, is in incredible searing agony?
Yes, very. But at least you still have the other one. More seriously though...if you notice that your urine is a much darker colour than normal or if the pain persists (you could have just pulled a muscle over night) you need to see a doctor.
That's what even non-medical professionals like myself call a "symptom." I'm morally certain that Whatever It Is is not cured by either (1) typing or (2) radiation from a Dell monitor.
That's what's called a "hint." Stage 2 is as subtle as a daisy cutter.

I fear NHS doctors much more than I do kidney failure. And as Johannes pointed out, I've got two.
