Just in case you are having second thoughts (though I do admit that the pictures are lovely) we have a rose garden here too, and a botanical garden, all in the middle of the city (there really is a lot more to it than the bits you've seen.) Then there are several villas; the Villa Borghese comes complete with an 'English garden', which has artificial ponds and ruins sprinkled throughout the 'wild' vegetation.
