Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Lord of hosts, my King, and my God.

The mystery cat
will arrive on Monday afternoon. She is a seven year old grey shorthair.
I was going to go with Algernon, but now that I know I have a girl-cat, other arrangements must be made.
More suggestions please, or the poor creature is going to get stuck with "Honoria".

Are you going to get a tomcat too and name him Attila?
ReplyDeleteOnly one for now. Some friends of the fam here, had two boy-cats with names that struck me as particularly good: Massai and Warrior Dave.
ReplyDeleteUrban II.
ReplyDeleteHonoria? Quit being so smart, White. Call the cat Daisy.
ReplyDeleteThere.
Abby.
ReplyDeleteGriselda, though she probably won't be patient.
ReplyDeleteGrisha.
ReplyDeleteYes, I know it's a boy's name (actually a diminutive) but she's a cat, and won't know any different.
