A reminder to Canadians visiting Britain
when someone asks you at nine o'clock in the morning if you would like a "brew", he is not offering you a beer.
Depends exactly who is offering you the brew! My best buddy (a 71 year old Scottish seafarer), were he to be offering me a brew at 9 a.m., would *DEFINITELY* be offering me a beer! ;D
