Your Choice
Cost of doubling the existing police force in Britain: £4.2 billion
Estimated cost of Brown's ID card project: £5 billion

I received a grovelling letter (a 'personal apology')today from HMRC telling me that my bank details were sitting on an unencrypted disc somewhere between Newcastle and London (in truth they do not know where they are - they could be being copied many times over in a flat in Lvov for all I know)
I can't trust them with my personal details for Child Benefit - how on earth can I trust them with my 'biometrics'? (whatever they are)
