Very plainspoken.I think he's spot on regarding the Regensburg address. It seemed obvious to me, reading it, that the main thrust of it was against our own barbarians, and the bit about Islam was a side point.(But not a blunder. It was Regensburg and the subsequent handling of it which persuaded me that Pope Benedict is smarter than I can ever hope to be.
